41 is a gesture, a creative sign made possible by technology.
41 is also a story, the eternal story, often repeated between those who own the work and those who imagine it. In fact, one day I met a person who produces lamps and he told me he could make a 5-meter-long lamp, to challenge him we designed 17 meters of continuous light for this space. He bravely accepted the challenge and realised it.
41 characterises the entire living area of this house ‘invading’ the various environments from the sofa area to the kitchen and it is clearly visible from the entrance.
It is part of a liberation, Fontana called it a "spatial gesture". This gesture, this light indicates the relationship that changes between what can be defined and the intangible, the dream of infinity.
Here too, inspiration comes naturally from Milan, in this case from the 900 Museum, where you can admire a wonderful work of illumination by Fontana.

Ludovica Serafini + Roberto Palomba.

architects living in Milan, in 1994 they founded Palomba Serafini Associati. Leading pair in Italian design for over 25 years, design products which have become design icons. Theirs is above all a philosophical approach generating courageous, always coherent design, equidistant from decorativism and radical minimalism. The result of a selection of values and themes rather than a reductionist project.

They have been able to bring together organicity and orthogonality to design all types of furniture without ever being repetitive, despite the ease with which their work can be recognised.
In architecture they stretch from renovation, to new buildings, from private houses to hotels. They have won many awards including the prestigious Compasso d'Oro and in 2019 the Head Europe Award for the Best European Hotel.

To celebrate 25 years of their business, Tommaso Calabro hosted them in the gallery where they presented the exhibition Ipertesto, with 25 new unique pieces designed specifically for the gallery.
